Ticket Returns Policy

The Kings Arms Salford (Tickets, Shows, and Events)

Effective Date: 17 October 2025

1. General Policy: Non-Refundable Tickets

All ticket sales for performances, events, and shows at The Kings Arms Salford are considered final transactions.

Tickets are non-returnable and non-refundable once purchased, except in the specific circumstances outlined in Section 2 below. This policy applies regardless of the customer’s personal circumstances, including illness, change of personal plans, or late arrival.

2. Refund Exceptions (Event Cancellation or Material Change)

In compliance with UK consumer law, a full refund of the face value of the ticket will be issued only if one of the following events occurs:

  • Cancellation: The entire performance or event is cancelled by The Kings Arms Salford (the venue) or the specific production company/promoter.

  • Rescheduling: The event is moved to a new date, and the ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled date.

  • Material Alteration: There is a significant change to the event, such as a major change in the headline act or the nature of the performance.

In these circumstances, we will initiate contact with ticket holders to confirm refund or exchange options.

3. What is NOT Eligible for a Refund

The following are not considered grounds for a refund or ticket exchange:

  • Change of Mind: The ticket holder decides they can no longer attend.

  • Supporting Acts: Changes to or cancellation of supporting acts, warm-up acts, or guests.

  • Minor Changes: Minor adjustments to running times, door opening times, or venue layout.

  • Late Arrival: Failure to attend or late arrival resulting in refusal of entry.

  • Lost or Stolen Tickets: We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.

  • Transfer of Tickets: Tickets purchased for resale or use by third parties are subject to our terms of sale and may be voided if resold commercially.

4. Refund Procedure

If an event is cancelled or materially rescheduled, The Kings Arms Salford will manage the refund process:

  • Face Value Refund: Refunds will cover the face value of the ticket. Please note that booking, transaction, or postage fees are handled by third-party ticketing platforms and are non-refundable by The Kings Arms Salford as these fees have already been processed and paid.

  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method as quickly as possible once confirmed, usually within 14 business days.

  • Rescheduled Events: For rescheduled dates, tickets usually remain valid. If you cannot attend the new date, you must notify us before the new event date to request a refund.
