Following a violent and unexplained tragedy, a couple are slowly torn apart by the corrosive need to understand why. Looking on and providing a perspective of his own, a perspective that is bizarre, compelling, and disturbing, is the young man at the centre of the tragedy.
In a Land Much Like Ours has been developed as part of Plays of Innocence and Experience a new-writing development project by The Writers' Guild of Great Britain and RADA.

'The Book' by Duncan Battman
The Book is a psychological piece about battle with others and oneself. Two individuals find themselves in a deep and harrowing position. But who are they? Can they trust the other person? Can the other person trust them? Should they work together or should they just look after themselves? They know nothing, who they're with, who the authority holding them is, where they are. Now they have to decide the answers those questions.
